60-Day Youth Baseball Pitchers Motor Skill Acquisition Program

     I invite all parents and youth pitchers to join my Research Study Club.  In this way, we will monitor the growth and development of the growth plates of their pitching arms.  I will also evaluate the rate of their skeletal maturation.  Together, we can make certain that youth pitchers have all the pleasure of baseball without the pain and deformation of their pitching arm.

     Until they are biologically sixteen years old, I do not want youth baseball pitchers to throw baseballs for more than two consecutive months per year.  Until they are biologically thirteen years old, I strongly recommend that they do not pitch competitively at all.

     At whatever age they show interest in learning how to pitch properly, I want youth baseball pitchers to use 60-Day Youth Baseball Pitchers Motor Skill Acquisition Program to learn how to properly use their glove and pitching arms to grip, drive and release my four basic pitches:  Maxline Fastball, Maxline True Screwball, Maxline pronation Curve and Torque Fastball.

     However, when youth baseball pitchers complete my 60-Day program, these sixty days do not count toward the two consecutive months of competitive pitching per year that I recommend that we limit biologically thirteen to sixteen year olds.  In fact, if, after at least a month after their competitive season ends, youngsters want to practice their releases, then they could complete a relatively low intensity sixty day program focused on improving the releases of their pitches.  In addition, provided that they have at least another month off before their next competitive season begins, to improve their skills and fitness, youth baseball pitchers should complete another moderate intensity 60-Day program.

     Because the hands of young youth baseball pitchers can be too small to easily grip the baseball with the grips I recommend, they should hold the baseball with as many fingers as they need, even all four fingers.  I want them to only learn the proper pitching forearm, wrist and hand actions through release that achieves the proper spin axes.

     To help youth baseball pitchers to learn my motor skills, I want:

01.  Biological eight and nine year old baseball pitchers to complete only my lid, appropriately-sized footballs and baseball throws,

02.  Biological ten through twelve year old baseball pitchers to use two and one-half pound wrist weights to do my wrist weight exercise and two pound iron balls to do my iron ball throws and

03.  Biological thirteen through fifteen year old baseball pitchers to use five pound wrist weights to do my wrist weight exercises and four pound iron balls to do my iron ball throws.
